Negative: Steep stairs, but eh that’s Holland and old buildings

Positive: Best part of this apartment is the location. 30 second walk to the main square. Right in the heart of historic Delft.

Negative: The bathroom door had a lot of problems. It is a barn door and does not easily slide. Plus the handle on the inside of the door is missing which made it even more difficult to open and close. Several times someone got stuck inside the bathroom and had to have someone on the outside slide the door open. Also, the space in the apartment is VERY tight especially with the placement of the ladder. It was difficult to move around with 3 people. Street noise is very loud inside the apartment at night,

Positive: Everything was perfect ! It's a little nest, very well designed and clean. The location is also very convenient (5mn away from the train station). We had the best stay, we will come back for sure! The communication with Kata was very easy as well.

Positive: Great location and comfortable bed.

Negative: Loft ladder in the way whether it was in place or moved onto the floor. Low entry way and ceiling above bed causes issues if you are over 6 ft tall. Loud at night plus some pump running all night one night and smell was of sewage. Communication with hosts not very good - told us we could leave bags there if arrived before 4 pm check-in (which seems pretty late) but no place remotely secure to leave them other than in doorway that was wide open to the street because restaurant underneath was open.

Summary: Disappointing on several fronts but location great.

Negative: having the caretakers off site can be a problem when things go wrong eg appliance not working.

Positive: Well situated by a canal (canalside second hand market on Saturday), two minutes from the Markt square (market day Thursday). On the same street where Vermeer lived and worked. High quality furnishings and equipment. The washing machine was very welcome. I enjoyed the chiming of the Nieuwe Kerk clock and the antics of a family of coots nesting on the canal.

Negative: Couldn't find the advertised drying rack, but there were plenty of places to hang washing for 24 hours' drying time. Couldn't get live TV (eg, Euro24 final) to work. Bit of a fusty smell from the shower (perhaps normal for old buildings next to canals).

Positive: The location was beautiful. The apartment was clean and comfortable.

Negative: The ladder in the middle of the room was very much in the way. The air conditioner did not work for the first few days which meant keeping the windows open which was very noisy. Despite sending a message, there never was a response. On the day before we left, it suddenly was working so we are guessing someone came into the apartment to fix it but we never had notice of that. Responses from the owners was good until the day we were checking in. I sent two messages that were never responded to after that. I tried calling as well and no answer.

Summary: We very much enjoyed staying in that area and the apartment was lovely.
