Positive: Loved this as the perfect and very comfortable start and end point to our loop road trip up the Parks to Fairbanks via Denali, and back down the Richardson and Glen. If we'd had more time there was clearly lots to do around Palmer/Wasilla itself. Immaculately clean room in an Immaculately clean, gorgeous, house, and the host couldn't have been any nicer! This is a wee gem of a place to stay in Alaska, highly recommend!

Negative: This isn't something we didn't like, but just to note that you will need a car to stay here as there are no places to eat or drink in walking distance.

Positive: Maryanne was a wonderful hostess. Her breakfasts were delicious and filling and ready at or earlier than the time requested. Though the house was in a neighborhood, there were still beautiful views of the mountains and night sky.

Negative: The only thing I didn't like was having to lug our suitcases upstairs and our private bathroom was downstairs, but there was a nice sitting room upstairs with coffee/tea, games, TV.

Summary: Maryanne made it a very pleasant stay. If I have another opportunity to visit, I'd stay again.
