Positive: We really enjoyed talking with the host and the other guests. There were gathering places where people could meet and chat. The hotel was cozy warm--a real plus in Churchill!

Positive: The location was perfect...just a couple of minutes from the Train Station and across the street from restaurants and shops. The breakfast was perfect...continental or cook to order. The staff was always helpful to answer questions and give suggestions....We were picked up at the train station and given a cheery tour of the town so that gave us a lay of the land and where we wanted to visit.

Negative: After researching where to stay, the Churchill exceeded my expectations. The only minus was caused by Mother Nature and the icy walking conditions...We just returned and the town was closing down which left a couple of restaurants closed.

Positive: Perfect location for those who likes to be on foot. Short walk to the railway station, across the road from the stores, a bolck or two away from restaurants, few steps from tour operators. Complementary transfer to and from the airport and railway station, OK breakfast. Staff accomodating request to a very reasionable extent.

Negative: Aging property, very thin walls, could use a refit.

Summary: Reasionable stay with a convenient location in the heart of the capital of Bear Country.

Positive: Maid was very helpful. Location was good. Pick-up from airport and delivery to the train station were excellent. Interesting historical photos on the walls of the hallways.

Negative: Desperately in need of updating. Manager was quirky. He didn't appear to want to be there, helpful sometimes, grumpy the next. Breakfast was adequate but space was limited given that most residents had to eat around the same time. Room was tiny. It had 2 single beds, with only a few pegs for hanging clothing. Had to move my bed to look for something, and not sure when it had last been done.

Negative: There was an unfixed leak in the sink, which made the room smell musty. Staff were not friendly and came across rude.

Summary: Fine given the remoteness of Churchill, although would opt to stay elsewhere if I came again.
