Positive: Hot tub was fab, all equipment needed was available.

Negative: The bed was extremely uncomfortable. More sockets around the TV areas so use of fire stick etc could've been used. Stool at the dressing table would be nice.

Positive: Was a nice size and was very clean had everything you need was so nice and peaceful there

Negative: The bed was rock hard they don’t say they have WiFi but when you get there they tell you they do but it don’t really work and taxi struggle to fine it

Summary: Was nice really enjoyed it really quiet and peaceful place would defo go again

Positive: We stayed in Chestnut 1 lodge. It is a lovely well equipped lodge. The park is very quiet and very relaxing, with hot tub. The Croft pub was also very nice but can’t comment on food as we did not try it. The grounds were very well kept. The weather was great so stayed on site most of week and found it very quiet and relaxing. Swimming pool on site charged at £5 per swim but did not use but seemed quite popular.

Negative: The biggest downfall was the bed. It was extremely uncomfortable. We used the quilt as a mattress topper and went and purchased a sheet to take its place as weather was so warm. Cleanliness was good but the kitchen cupboard doors needed wiping down and the windows could have done with a clean. Hot tub only had 1 setting that worked but was ok.

Summary: Couple of negatives but would definitely stay again.(just need to take a mattress topper)

Positive: Lovely huge lodge with spacious hot tub. Really well kitted out with everything you could need. Beautiful views and easy to walk to the bus stop for a ride into town, which is also lovely.

Negative: You can’t adjust the temperature of the hot tub. It was unfortunate that weather went from super hot to raining and having to ask to get it adjusted didn’t quite go to plan. The windows and fronts of kitchen cabinets could do with a proper clean.

Summary: Lovely place to stay on the countryside but near enough to the town not to be cut off.
