Positive: The view was sensational and the log fire very cosy, especially during the wet weather of our stay.

Negative: A washer/dryer in the room would be more helpful than just a washing machine as the weather is often rainy in these parts. I needed to wash clothes but didn't as the clothes wouldn't naturally dry in time to checkout. The only nearby restaurant was closed on both the nights we were there which is understandable as mon/tues but with no shops in the local town of Skenes Creek, had to drive 15 mins into Apollo Bay, so would be a nice touch to provide a little welcome basket on arrival, like a bottle of wine and a fresh loaf of bread or museli, etc. so you can just stay in, relax and enjoy the fire.

Summary: We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the cozy fireplace.
