Positive: This rating requires some context. I agree with other reviewers saying the facility has been neglected over a long time. Had my wife been traveling with me, she would’ve had a good bit to say about that- not favorable. But she’s not here. For a solo traveler here for the surf, this place is fantastic. My room was large (admittedly dilapidated). They have security cameras all over the general area, this place is really safe and secure. My door was 5 steps from the sand and the break was straight out from the hotel. They serve food which I found adequate and very reasonably priced. They were very friendly and accommodating. For my preference (location and proximity to surf over any desire for luxury) this place is an undiscovered gold mine. If price is a concern, you are unlikely to find a beach front accommodation anywhere near this price in your lifetime. Pick your priority.

Negative: Dilapidated. Would take a ton of work to get this place up to my wife’s standards. Personally, it was fine for me.

Summary: A dilapidated gem right on the sand strait out from the surf break.

Positive: Breakfast was good, Nicaraguan style with good coffee. The location is great because allows you to walk to both sides of the beach and find different swimming locations depending on the ties and current that are changing all day long.

Negative: Having some extra bathroom towels, or at least being told to bring some on our own. Other wise no complains

Positive: Location was perfect. We liked the beach charis and shades on the beach. Room was big and spacious. Staff friendly.

Negative: The rooms are very hot, and the fan doesn't really help. I know this is a very hot place and we knew there was no air con, but just made sleeping quite difficult. But great value

Negative: Needs some maintenance. Window didn’t work properly. Patio was a bit deteriorated.
