Summary: I really tried to like this place enough to stay the entirety of my trip but I got so uncomfortable that I had to leave a day early . This is why: The host didn't answer all my questions. If you pay for the garage, just know that it will help keep outsiders out but totally accessible to who ever else is staying there because the door doesn't lock. The house keepers and the neighbors both have dogs that constantly bark The housekeepers and others that are doing construction on the property are constantly walking past the front door and glancing in. There is nothing stopping people from walking up from the beach and entering the property. There is blood on one of the pillow cases. The heat for the pool barely works so it was still too cold to enjoy. All the bathrooms smell because of plumbing issues, only one of the toilets flush properly. The lights in the living room area randomly go on and off. There is a CD player and many CDs but no speakers so that's pointless. The ceiling fans don't work, neither do the built in speakers in the ceiling. There is not a trash bin for the kitchen. I didn't realize until my second to last day that the door in the master bedroom leading to outside wont lock cause the handle is completely broken. That one is completely my fault cause I didn't check it apon arrival. I couldn't sleep very well that night and that was my breaking point in to not staying my last night. I didn't get a refund for the night. Make I also didVRBO

Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The three-unit property is gorgeous but could use some more love. We would consider staying here again. Pros: The owner was easy to contact and responded quickly The unit was a 10 -15 minute walk to the boardwalk Beautiful view The master bed was comfy Pots and pans/cutlery were in good shape Cons: The property had some plumbing/electrical issues Beach access is difficult Could be a tad bit cleaner Could be better stocked/more towels Needs some TLC/little outdated The second bedroom bed was not comfy The pool table felt was pilled. Luckily, I travel with duct tape and was able to easily de-lint it. I noticed a few small tears in the felt and there was a small lean but we played many games and had fun! The cues were not perfect but we found two that were acceptable. I can only imagine how difficult it is to upkeep a pool table in a vacation rental. We do not know if the dishwasher or trash compactor worked. All other kitchen appliances functioned as expected. There is not a bathtub. The lighting is a mixture of warm and cool bulbs. I prefer all warm bulbs. The laundry room adjacent to the unit could be tidied up.

Summary: The property location and set up far exceeded my expectations. Sometimes when you book a VRBO it looks better in the pics then it does when you get there. This was the other way around. The pics don’t do it justice. We were celebrating a friends 40th BDay so it was perfect. The layout is ideal for 3-4 people but you can fit more if needed. The pool was great and the views even more amazing. The place had everything needed to cook and all toiletries. The only reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the issues we had with the water. Unfortunately we didn’t have hot water most of the trip. Each of us only got to take one warm shower over the 4 days we were there. The property owner was really responsive and had people come out right away but it would only work for a short period of time then we had to call them back out. If not for that, I would have rated this 5+ stars.
