Summary: The home is beautifully decorated, has everything I can think of that you might need, is very clean, and close to everything.

Summary: The property was clean and welcoming, all the interior lights were on as we were arriving after dark. Comfortable bedding in both rooms. The sitting areas were nice, great that there was a dedicated tv room ( although the tv is quite small). Outside seating options are great. Nicely located with easy access to the beach and marina. Close to shops and restaurants. Have to recommend the the Sunflower, we ate there two nights and the food and service weee excellent. A couple of small niggles, it said shampoo was provided but there was not any so it made the first shower difficult, until we could get to the store and the upstairs sink was a very slow drain. Overall a very nice property I would highly recommend

Summary: We were first time visitors to Colonial Beach. It’s a cute town with some very good restaurants. It was very hot so the river was enjoyed.The host was great…we’ll go back!

Summary: This precious cottage was perfect for my family over the Thanksgiving holidays. The kitchen was well stocked with a nice set of pots and pans that were perfect for preparing our Thanksgiving meal. The kitchen was a great size to cook with family. The owner was very easy to communicate with when I had questions. We loved our stay. I don't know that I would have loved the staircase as much if we had had small children or my parents with us, but the cottage was perfect for grown children.

Summary: Very clean and well located in town of Colonial Beach. The stairs and step into the second floor bath were a bit tricky at first, but we adjusted. We would rent this place again.

Summary: It’s was such a great house and had everything our family needed to create wonderful memories. The kitchen has everything you need. The house is decorated so nice. Overall we would stay there again and again!

Summary: From the time we opened the door, we were in love with this house. It was decorated so cute! While we did not cook a meal there, the kitchen had everything you would need! Had a good time. Close to places to eat, as well the beach. We rented a golf cart and that was a fun way to see the area. Hope to be back one day. Thanks for the memories!

Summary: Perfect for my family. We enjoyed the shed with all the beach toys and chairs, the big, well appointed kitchen, and all the outdoor spaces. Quiet neighborhood, close to everything we needed. It's a comfortable house, with 2(!) bathrooms. The owners were quick to answer the questions i had. Great!

Summary: Kitchen made a huge difference for us: it is well equipped, and have the essentials for making a breakfast feast. Ambience is very conducive to resting and relaxing. Just being at this cottage will make your stay a calm and quiet one. My wife and I had a wonderful time working around the kitchen, talking the morning away slowly thru making our breakfast. Beach is a couple of blocks. Heat of the day made it worth to stay inside and relax, and go for a stroll early for sunrise (we could have, but did not). Watching sunset is just another couple of steps in the other direction... what a treat ! I would definitely recommend it, would stay in this little gem again. Rgds, Daniel
