Positive: This is a beautiful property in an even more beautiful location. It's right on the lake with easy access to the water. The house itself is lovely -- very spacious and amazing windows looking out on the lake. It was very comfortable and a perfect place to hang out for a few days while in Burlington for UVM's graduation. Super cozy and yet spacious all at the same time.

Negative: Although the house itself was fabulous, given the cost of the rental, the kitchen appliances could have been better; it's a great kitchen space with sub-par equipment. Even the can opener was cheap and almost not usable. For this price you can buy a decent can opener and some basic but more functional pots and pans and serving dishes to have on hand! My most pressing complaint, however, isn't about the house itself but about Vacasa, which manages the property. When I requested a late check-out they initially said that it was possible (for a fee), but when I tried to actually establish the late check-out and pay the fee they said it was too late and their "policy" was to not allow late check-outs if you don't establish them by a certain time on the preceding day. I would understand this if there were new renters coming into the house and it needed to get cleaned within a tight timeframe, but I know that there were no new renters coming in and still Vacasa was a stickler for this arbitrary rule and were quite rude when I explained that we were only asking for a couple of extra hours in the morning. They were unnecessarily bureaucratic about it, which is unfortunate and made what was otherwise a great stay in a great house have a bit of a sour ending. Please consider being more flexible if it's at all possible (which it certainly was in the case).

Summary: A lovely lake house with plenty of space and easy access to Burlington.

Positive: Lakeside access and the private beach was best feature. Loved use of canoe kayak bikes and water float. Great location.

Negative: ,the dishwasher was broken. The outdoor grill didn’t work. I

Positive: Beautiful lake and Mountain View’s. Close to Burlington and hiking trails.

Negative: Arrived at 4:00 (as stated in rental agreement) and cleaners were still there. Waited/drove around for 30 minutes. Cleaners said they had no idea renters were expected. Parking is right at road, and gas grill was dirty.
