Positive: A very nice hotel offering good facilities and access to a private beach. The whole place promotes a relaxing and unrushed stay... Tamed squirrels are hopping around alongside with iguanas of various colours and sizes... super tropical and feels close to nature. The staff, particularly Jonathan, were very helpful and friendly. There's plenty of local knowledge and recommendations; I rented a push bike and had a tyre puncture (rental car) fixed on Jonathan's recommendation. Aside from all the practicalities, Bay Harbour Lodge is a little beach paradise, which is priceless.

Negative: During my stay the free WiFi was either slow or non-existent. The staff were aware and did their best to have it fixed (which it was). Still... it was frustrating to rely on 4G data package.

Positive: Fresh coffee, tea and hot chocolate with daily homemade scones were a lovely addition to our stay. There were kayaks and SUPs to borrow, and the beach/dock area had a beautiful view of the sunset.

Summary: This was a nice, quiet paradise, nestled among the Florida foliage.

Positive: Several tiki huts, many tables/chairs and lounge areas for enjoying the outdoors. Charming, small resort atmosphere. The nicest, most accommodating hosts. Beautiful sunset view.
