Positive: The house is beautiful, spacious, has wonderful amenities, and an excellent location. It's obvious that a lot of thought and time has been devoted to designing and equipping the house so that it has everything you could want, and more, for a family vacation. We came as a family of eight and everyone was thrilled. It would be very easy to not leave the property at all, which would be a mistake as it's in an excellent location with easy access (under 1 hour driving) to many different beautiful places like Aix, Arles, and Avignon - Les Baux is a five minute drive, St. Remy under twenty. Maussane itself is very pleasant, has nice restaurants, and the centre is only a 4-5 minute walk, if that.

Positive: The house is recently renovated throughout and is very well designed, with an open plan downstairs layout. It's very comfortable. Lovely pool area with pool house and sun beds with umbrellas. Lots of good quality towels and bedding. Fully stocked modern kitchen. Every utensil you could imagine and a big American style fridge. The owner was very attentive, initially the WiFi didn't work but he helped us to reconnect it and then it was very good. The house is in a great location within easy walking distance of the local park and the main square and local shops.

Negative: There were no speakers to play music. But you could use the TV.

Positive: This is a beautiful and spacious property that is stylish and comfortable to stay in. Every room - from the kitchen and dining area to the roomy bedrooms - is tastefully furnished. The garden has been meticulously tended and the swimming pool is clean and inviting. The owner and staff couldn’t have been more helpful, delivering a very thoughtful and personal service. Our stay in Maussane-Les-Alpilles was truly memorable and we would love to visit again.

Positive: A group comprising grandparents , parents and children all greatly enjoyed staying at Bastide la Merigot. All the facilities required for preparing meals, relaxing and playing were very thoughtfully provided and the villa was very clean, well presented and secure. The swimming pool was excellent and enjoyed by all. A short walk into the centre of Maissane was appreciated by the drivers - it is is a pleasant small town and a good location for exploring les alpilles.

Negative: That we could only stay for one week.
