Positive: The rooms were large and airy, clean bedding and toiletries provided.

Negative: The accommodation sleeps 8, but only 2 mugs, 4 plates and dishes were provided. Also the toilet seat is loose and the shower wasn't secured properly to the wall Could also do with a coat of paint. All this could be so easily remedied and you would get great reviews.

Negative: Housekeeping called to the house at 9.55am to get us to leave. We are a group who had been out for the rugby the night before. We were going as fast as we could to leave. There was only one bathroom. We left the property at 10.14am this was not before being threatened with calling the police. I am very conscious that housekeeping have to service the house before the next guest. Very unreasonable to arrive before the checkout time demanding us to leave a small grace period would surely be allowed.. It ruined what would have been an adequate stay.

Summary: Leave before 10am or else youll be in jail

Positive: Excellent location for Barry island and for Gavin & Stacey fans!! Tadross hotel top of the road and turn left!! Everything you need is there, TV has a million channels to choose from, and Netflix, etc. Comfortable seating and warm and cosy. The kitchen has plenty of space and is very long. 3 bedrooms, a twin room, a double and a single bedroom, and another double and single bedroom. Lovely dining room table with 4 chairs. The kitchen has new units and a new washing machine and a dryer and fridge. No dishwasher. All being said, we had a comfortable stay at this property, and it is definitely value for money compared to a Travelodge, etc. Parking is normal street parking with no restrictions!!

Negative: We did not use the oven to cook with as we had takeaway, but the tray inside the oven was full of cooking fat and had not been cleaned. The bathroom sink plug when used was stuck and couldn't release it, which made the sink unusable. A slight tidy up with a lick of paint here and there would make a difference to the appearance of the property. The stairs has holes in the carpet and this needs replacing!! The fan in the bathroom makes a terrible noise, and thankfully it goes off immediately when you turn the light off. You will have to use the recycling bins when you stay or incur an extra charge!!! We are not eco warriors and do not recycle at Home!!

Positive: It's a really lovely house, spacious and just what we needed.

Negative: Cleaning was 100% but not the end of the world. A little repair work needed too but again it didn't effect our stay really.

Positive: We really liked the house, everything was very clean, sheets and towels were soft and smelled good, the kitchen was renovated as it was new and modern. The house had the utensils we needed. Our access was very easy. We intend to return.

Positive: Very spacious Within easy distance of Barry island and Cardiff

Negative: Upon arrival it was a job to get into the front door as it didn't open fully. Clear things were not very clean as had to clean the oven and crockery before using. There was not enough seating and cutlery. Bathroom leaked terribly. Walls had severe cracks in them and water stains very prominent on the kitchen ceiling. Electrics very unsafe. Garden was a complete mess. In the mornings the garden was full of the neighbours pigeons with feathers and dust flying everywhere. Most definitely would not recommend
