Positive: While the house is very sizeable and well presented, but we had a few issues during our stay

Negative: We reported the issues on Saturday morning using the phone numbers provided in the info pack, of the text contact numbers one responded that they are no longer associated with the house and the other did not respond. The call contact is a Cottages call centre which tried to get in contact with the owners on our behalf as well. An associate of the owners attended several hours later after 2pm, with only 10mins notice from the call centre so wouldn't have been very helpful if we were out from the property: The hot tub wouldn't work and while the associate said he turned it on, it ultimately didn't heat up so we were unable to use this. Given we booked the house to be able to use the hot tub this is a big disappointment to us. The electrics in the kitchen would trip the fuse if using several appliances at the same time, but this was not possible to address on the weekend. The associate mentioned this had been looked at before, so seems to be an ongoing issue which you would expect to be fixed for a house accommodating groups The front door is an electric fob system which malfunctioned and we couldn't open this to be able to leave the property. We could open the gym external doors but these were not lockable from the outside to enable us to go out. The associate was able to fix this but an overall complex electrical system seems a potential safety risk. While it is mentioned in the welcome info, there is limited hot water for showers without boosting the system, which takes 2 hours to heat up, again a limitation for a house accommodating groups
