Positive: Great location, near to loads of wonderful places to see , dog friendly .( just keep on a lead as farm animals about) Very comfortable mattress on the bed , lovely open fire . The chickens are very friendly and love a bit of bread in the mornings, great relaxed feeling. Cozy cottage. Dog treats ,shampoo,conditioner,body wash and coffee,tea,milk sachets provided which was great .

Negative: Though the property is clean , there were a few cobwebs around the place . But didn’t affect our stay . ( Some were old and some new with spiders inside ,hubby did a great job of removing them ) Thought from the photos more space to walk the dog , but areas shown ,the water and the sitting bench were cordoned off so could not sit or be in that area. The four poster bed needs a bit of attention, as the top is broken on all four corners and held together precariously. But the mattress was extremely comfortable. Nobody to greet us , we didn’t see anyone the whole hoilday to make sure things were ok , but there is a number to ring if there is a problem , was just going on other reviews that said they had been great hosts.

Positive: Rural location, with opportunity to walk round property and enjoy the lake and animals. Quiet location with easy access to shops, pubs etc. and close to several major attractions

Negative: Would have been useful to have more information in the folder about where to put recyclable rubbish etc and what other details for end of stay. Generally the house was very tidy and clean but some details not clean (eg behind bed)

Summary: A lovey rural retreat close to lots of interesting places.

Positive: We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in this lovely cottage.

Negative: It wasn’t that easy to find so clear instructions would have been good. We weren’t sure where we could walk around the property as didn’t want to trespass so again instructions would have been useful. A map showing where we could walk maybe? Oven gloves would have been useful too!

Positive: This cottage is beautifully presented and is a very good size. It feels very homely. You have your own entrance and it feels very private.

Negative: It was a little difficult to find in the dark. The views from the windows were a little disappointing bearing in mind the location we were in but it was ok. The cockerel is up early 😆

Summary: Lovely cottage if you like a rural setting. Great for going walking and just chilling out.

Positive: Lovely location. High quality and gorgeous inside.

Negative: Booked for 5 but only 4 dining chairs and 2 double beds to sleep 4. Assumed as described as sleeping up to 7 (confirmed with booking.com staff) and identified as suitable when searching for 5 that in addition to the two double beds mentioned there were sofa beds or something similar. Crockery and cutlery for 6 so enough for us but not for 7. Didn’t like people walking right by our windows to access next door stable property but as we were only staying 2 nights that big of a deal. Location stated as Binton on booking but was actually closer to a different village and about 10/15mins from Binton.

Summary: Comfortable but not quite as expected. Good location and very spacious with atmospheric log burner.

Positive: The farm is in a remote location, but it’s very clean, well-organized, and straightforward to navigate. All the home appliances were functional and easy to use, and access to the property was simple. The host provides assistance by phone as part of their program, and they were very patient and precise. One suggestion: Google Maps seems to work better in the area than other navigation apps like Waze.

Positive: The cottage has been beautifully decorated and felt very cosy and homely. A perfect countryside place to stay. We couldn’t fault the place at all. The kids loved seeing the chickens outside in the morning too! The bed was comfy, the master bedroom in particular was huge. We only stayed for one night as a stop gap on a longer journey, but could easily have stayed for a week, we really loved it!
