Positive: This cottage is beautifully presented and is a very good size. It feels very homely. You have your own entrance and it feels very private.

Negative: It was a little difficult to find in the dark. The views from the windows were a little disappointing bearing in mind the location we were in but it was ok. The cockerel is up early 😆

Summary: Lovely cottage if you like a rural setting. Great for going walking and just chilling out.

Positive: Lovely location. High quality and gorgeous inside.

Negative: Booked for 5 but only 4 dining chairs and 2 double beds to sleep 4. Assumed as described as sleeping up to 7 (confirmed with booking.com staff) and identified as suitable when searching for 5 that in addition to the two double beds mentioned there were sofa beds or something similar. Crockery and cutlery for 6 so enough for us but not for 7. Didn’t like people walking right by our windows to access next door stable property but as we were only staying 2 nights that big of a deal. Location stated as Binton on booking but was actually closer to a different village and about 10/15mins from Binton.

Summary: Comfortable but not quite as expected. Good location and very spacious with atmospheric log burner.

Positive: The farm is in a remote location, but it’s very clean, well-organized, and straightforward to navigate. All the home appliances were functional and easy to use, and access to the property was simple. The host provides assistance by phone as part of their program, and they were very patient and precise. One suggestion: Google Maps seems to work better in the area than other navigation apps like Waze.

Positive: The cottage has been beautifully decorated and felt very cosy and homely. A perfect countryside place to stay. We couldn’t fault the place at all. The kids loved seeing the chickens outside in the morning too! The bed was comfy, the master bedroom in particular was huge. We only stayed for one night as a stop gap on a longer journey, but could easily have stayed for a week, we really loved it!

Positive: Peaceful and remote location with nice land to stroll around, private little lake, tennis court and lovely horses to see. Plus some very friendly chickens! Lovely cottage to stay in - very spacious and warm with under floor heating and large log burner Great hosts, Joel very welcoming and provided all the key information we needed. We would have no hesitation in returning to Barn Cottage - it felt very homely and was lovely to come back to after days out

Positive: Really enjoyed beautiful stay in very peaceful location. The cottage was warm, cozy, homely and spacious. The owners were really nice and welcoming and make sure we have everything we need. I would highly recommend it.
