Positive: A genuine 10 out of 10. The location was perfect with a balcony overlooking the river and within easy walking distance of the town. The accommodation was cosy and immaculate with everything provided for self catering. Very useful welcome pack.

Positive: The cottage is situated next to the river, a short walk from the town. There are patio doors to be able to watch the river and relax on a small balcony area, Excellent communication from the owners was appreciated with confirming details in the property. The cottage was immaculately clean, very, very well equipped. Good quality Wifi and TV channels including Netflix, Well equipped kitchen, Towels, linen, teatowels all provided which reduced our list of things to bring and squeeze in the car, We loved this cottage and will definitely stay here again if we are in the area again,

Positive: Loved the location being walking distance to the centre of Newton Stewart. Loved the balcony overlooking the River. The hosts were very kind and supplied milk , bread, biscuits, butter and cheese, . It was very comfortable, very spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and crockery. Great location for walking or cycling. Good selection of DVDs to watch. Close to supermarkets. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for such a fab holiday.

Positive: Great cottage on a lovely site. The cottage was warm. We'll equipped and the gift of bread butter milk and tea was very thoughtful. The little balcony and the fireworks was lovely

Negative: The stairs. They were rather steep and the step was a bit narrow (I have difficulty with stairs so this would not be a problem for most people. Sadly Newton Stewart itself is very down at heel and we could find nowhere local that was nice to dine out in the evening.
