Positive: Exceptional thought gone into every detail. It’s a home away from home. Especially appreciated the dog beds, towels, blankets, bowls, treats etc…. Location is great in a quiet village dark skies, and having so much to explore on the doorstep.

Positive: Our absolute favourite place we stayed in 8 weeks of travelling Scotland. The cottage is perfect! Spacious, fastidiously clean, comfortable and very relaxing. We love how it’s been restored and decorated, and there’s nothing we could suggest that needs improvement. Simply sensational.

The cottage is beautifully cosy, warm, and exceptionally comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. The attention to detail is outstanding. The beautiful décor and the love, care, and hard work that have gone into creating such a charming cottage are evident in every room. Everything has been thoughtfully provided, making our stay relaxing and completely stress-free. Thank you for creating such a beautiful place to stay. We truly appreciated all the little touches and had an amazing time. We would not hesitate to return and will happily recommend the Pink Cottage to family and friends.

Positive: One of the quirkiest places we've stayed in with the hosts turning the property's narrow width into an advantage where you enter a succession of interesting rooms, and then outside, the garden goes on for another sixty metres! Well equipped and scrupulously clean. And there's a handy wee general store right opposite.

Positive: It is a remarkable property - one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Sue has been super communicative. The cottage is decorated beautifully, it has all the luxuries you can dream of. Beds were super comfy and we spent plenty of time in a beautiful garden.

Positive: Quirky, fun and immaculate cottage. Sue really has thought of it all from the lovely extras for our precious pup to the bath robes and tea cakes. Lots of nooks with interesting ornaments to discover. A great base to explore Galloway. Sue was so quick at replying to correspondence and really helpful offering lots of extra information about the cottage and surrounding area. We look forward to returning.
