Positive: Petra is a perfect host. After a nice welcome and a guided tour she left us to it. There are lots of nice little touches that make the place homely and comfortable. It is very clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and nice shower room. The furniture and bed were comfortable and we slept well. We enjoyed the rural location and loved sitting in the private garden with a glass of wine after our busy days being tourists. Can't wait to visit again and explore the area further.

Positive: Central location for Galloway Forest and local sights such as Wigtown, Whithorn and Mull of Galloway. Fabulous garden with lots of birds and wildlife. Great seating area and well stocked kitchen for cooking and all facilities you need.

Positive: I really liked the garden and beautiful surroundings. Kitchen was fully equipped. Cottage was charming comfy and warm. The host and locals were friendly and helpful.

Negative: Location is isolated and public transport is one bus an hour. The only nearby shop closes at 8pm. We were prepared for this but it was still stark. Having your own vehicle is a must. The wifi was not very strong and did not cover the whole cottage.
