Minutes from the white sands of Palm Beach, Barefoot Spirit is a light and airy holiday home with sea views. The purpose built beach house opens to let nature in yet feels completely private for guests to relax and unwind.

The Space:
A large sun drenched entertaining deck connects the open plan kitchen and living area to a free standing double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. An additional two double bedrooms accessed via an external staircase, (each with private deck) full bath and laundry area are located on the lower level of the main house.
The bach is in a great central location for exploring the island. Palm Beach, the bus stop, a dairy, The Red Shed art gallery and the fish and chips shop are within a few minutes walk and a short drive will get you to the supermarket, ferries, iconic Saturday farmer's market, galleries and shopping as well as Waiheke's amazing vineyards and restaurants.

Please Note: A compulsory exit clean of $240 applies to each booking and a compulsory linen fee of $25 per person, per stay. Beach towels can also be hired for $7.50 per person, per stay. Minimum stays: 7 nights from mid December to mid January, 3 nights rest of January and all holiday weekends, 2 nights at all other times.

Waiheke Island is 20km long. Our properties are mainly located in the first 10km. Taxis are available but can be expensive. Regular bus services operate around the island.

Our team is available 7 days a week 8:30 am to 5pm for guests and for emergencies after hours.

Summary: Amazing views, easy beach access. My family loved this place and we will be coming back only downside the bottom room beds were not comfortable at all. All in all this is a great place!!

Summary: The place was perfect... it was lovely, sunny, warm and welcoming. It felt a bit like being in a tree house (altho a bit noisy for the poor folks who were sleeping in the rooms downstairs - you could hear everything going on in the lounge/kitchen) and so close to the beach. I loved it!

Summary: the property was in a great location and the bedroom/bathroom setup was perfect for a group of people. Having no curtains is a bit weird though and less than ideal. The parking situation is also not that great with only space for one car in a space that is poorly marked if you arrive in the dark.

Summary: I stayed here with my family for a long weekend. The bach is beautiful, set in the bush with views of the sea. The location is ideal since it is halfway between Onetangi and Oneroa. The owner/s were very helpful with my 101 questions including when I needed to get refunds for two people. 10/10 for a relaxing weekend

Summary: The downstairs rooms were very musty with a strong unpleasant smell. Some trees need cutting back as it was windy and a lot of noise of them scraping against the house which gave for a very disturbed sleep. The lack of curtains made for early wake up. Apart from those things the house was entirely suitable for a holiday and had everything we needed and we very much enjoyed our stay. Plenty of amenities, good hot water supply and comfy beds.

Summary: Beautiful spacious property in a great location just down the road from the beach and close to main bus route. Great layout for entertaining with lovely sea views. Our group of 8 had a great stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place!
