Positive: We're staying with two kids, so the large yard did the magic for letting our kids enjoy the nature. With its lotus pond, pine trees and various other old trees, Balcone's serenity offers a perfect place to relax. Nearby, you can find good coffee (and brunch) at Kopi Eyang and lunch/dinner at Warung Ethnic. The room is also quite big. You can also keep your food in the fridge and heat up your food with a microwave at common room/kitchen.

Negative: The drive leads to the lodge was quite small. Not a big problem, but for those unaccostomed with such road, it can be a hussle.

Positive: The location is very strategic, its easy to find restaurant near to the hotel. The room so big and very clean, fit for 4 person if you bring your kids. The hospitality is very excellent.

Negative: No swimming pool and gym.
