Positive: Hidden gem beautiful hotel very welcoming . Staff couldn’t do enough for you,and the view sun out and cove with island and ex coastguard tower now air bnb. A pleasure to wake up in morning and not full and able to allow the dog a bit of freedom to roam the country garden and beach without being on lead

Negative: Meals were very good and well priced. Full English great and at a time of your choosing same with evening meals no times and restrictions to interfere with the planning of your day

Summary: Myself and my wife would like to thank the entire team for an amazing stay and making our 30 anniversary a one to rememb

Positive: Lovely setting, right on the estuary, views of Balcary island. The staff were excellent and the food was very good.

Negative: The whole place needs an update, mismatched furnishings, the terrace to our room needed weeding and had an ashtray full of dimps.

Positive: Absolutely stunning views. Amazing location. All staff were so friendly and helpful even though they were super busy! Room was gorgeous too. Food was amazing too! Definitely dine here if you're visiting or staying at the hotel.

Positive: I travelled with my mum, my sister and my dog. We loved every aspect of our stay. On arrival, Molly at reception was incredibly warm, helpful, genuine, and kind. Our room was immaculate, comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a really relaxing stay - the beds were super comfy and the view was outstanding. Breakfast was delicious and the 11am departure gave enough time to enjoy the morning without feeling rushed. We will definitely be back. Loved every minute.

Positive: Cooked breakfasts were very good and room was very comfortable with lovely view. Staff were friendly.

Negative: Coffee at breakfast (which otherwise was great) was poor (very weak). When coming back late guests should also have a way to get in without having to have made prior arrangements to have front door left unlocked.
