Large villa (167m2) very well equipped, in a serene and privileged setting, in the heart of a 5000m2 plot, located in a small village of Balagne "URTACA" overlooking the valley of Ostriconi, at 10 minutes from one of the most beautiful beach of Corsica, the door of the desert of the Agriates "Ostriconi".
The house on two levels is very sunny, situated overhanging a hill, it enjoys a outstanding view of the plain, the sea, the village and the mountains. The entrance is on the first floor.
First floor: living room, kitchen, terrace, separate wc, parental suite (bedroom, bathroom and toilet, dressing room)
Second ground floor (low): 3 bedrooms, bathroom and wc
You will enjoy the new heated private swimming pool and its breathtaking view. Swimming with the only compagny of eagles and swallows is an unforgettable experience.
Dimensions of the pool: length 9.50m, width 5.80m, depth from 1.20m to 1.70m
The oaks that surround the house will preserve your privacy. You can sunbathe, lunch, dinner or take the aperitif on the terrace of 50m2. Wonderful sunsets will accompany you throughout your stay.
Beautiful walks of all levels are possible from the house: trail of Lama, Monte Astu, plateau of Tenda, collar of San Pancraziu. Likewise, you can enjoy our little river which is 10 minutes walk from the house.
The road leading to the house has been redesigned to offer you easy access and parking. The private parking can accommodate several vehicles.
The location of the village of URTACA is exceptional at the crossroads of Haute-Corse, between sea and mountains, near Ile-Rousse, Calvi, Saint-Florent, Ponte-Leccia, Corte, Bastia.

Summary: Perfect place to get away and enjoy what Corsica has to offer. Lovely pool, beautiful views out to sea and into the mountains. Perfect location for hiking, beach trips, doing nothing, or exploring the nearby towns and villages. You will need to drive at least 20 minutes to get to restaurants and supermarkets but there are a few towns nearby with lots of great food available. Our host Danielle was extremely friendly and very accommodating and helped us with finding the places we need to.

Summary: Get away from it all in this lovely accomodation set on a hillside with amazing views. Dining on the terrace above the pool with the sun setting in the distance is amazing. The host is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel very welcome with homemade treats. A car is essential as there are no shops near.

Summary: We had an absolutely wonderful vacation in Urtaca, hosted by Danielle, who is the nicest hostess we have had many years of VRBO travel. She really made us feel at home in her little village and was always ready to help (living close by) and share her knowledge of the area and culture. She welcomed us with award winning, delicious local honey and breads, and we enjoyed meeting her dogs. The town of Urtaca is very charming, perched in the hills and off the tourist track. We went hiking directly from the house. The pool is very clean and refreshing. The views are spectacular from every room. We enjoyed swimming at the nearby beaches and hiking along the sea cliffs and drove to many beautiful villages along the north coast. The location is very private with no visible neighbors, and yet is a short drive to stores and various attractions. We feel it is our Coriscan home away from home and hope to return soon. We are still enjoying our jars of Urtacan honey.

Summary: We had a very pleasant stay at Urtaca, the house is beautiful, very well equipped and with attractive furnitures. We enjoyed the pool and the garden much. The view from the terrace over the hills to the sea is fantastic. It took us only about 10 Minute to the next sandy beach. Danielle is a fabulous host, she took care for an unforgettable stay. Summary: We spent 10 days as a family (2 adults and 3 teens) exploring Corsica for the first time and couldn't have wished for a better location, house and host. Danielle is very friendly and was making us feel really welcome all the way through our stay (including making a cake for our oldest son's birthday - definitely beyond the line of duty). The house is beautiful and stately with a fantastic pool; and in a great location with a view of both sea and mountains - a good base to explore the north part of the island (you can hike straight from the village, or get to lots of other locations within 30-50min, including Corte, the Agriate Desert, Calvi, Isle de Rousse and much more.) The kids rated it as the best holiday house they stayed in - not sure what else to add :), would definitely go back!

Summary: We were two families with children ranging from 7 to 14. It was a wonderful stay and we enjoyed our time greatly. Danielle was an excellent host who was always there to help with the bakery order, the butcher order, or anything else we needed. Our kids enjoyed the heating pool which is such a treat at this time of year. The beaches nearby are amazing and were easy to access. You are definitely not in an active town but if privacy and quiet is what you want then this was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked to help with making fabulous dinners and enjoying the sunsets. We would love to come again.

Summary: We had a fantastic week in Danielle's beautiful house in Urtaca. It was our first time to Northern Corsica and we loved it. There is so much to see and do and the scenery is breath taking. The house itself is perfect and it is situated in a stunning location. Coming back at the end of a days activities was a real treat and we loved to sit and watch the sunset over the sea. The views to the coast and village are something special. When we arrived, the house was immaculate and the pool was clean, well look after and beautifully warm. Danielle was a superb host - charming, friendly, helpful and accommodating but also sensitive enough to allow us our privacy. Do not hesitate to book a holiday here...you will not be disappointed. We will definitely be back if Danielle will have us!

Summary: Danielle is lovely, very helpful and efficient. The house is great, village quiet and views fantastic. There are nice walks from the doorstep and a bakery next door. In short it delivered everything we wanted.
