Positive: Beautifully decorated apartment, clean and comfortable, with a stunning view. At a five-minute walk distance from San Marcos beach, a small pleasant beach with clean warm water. Compact, well-equipped kitchen, in general. Nice and clean bathroom. The other apartments had friendly neighbours.

Negative: The sofa bed is in fact a large sofa where you can sleep. One very nice room, with a window for the outside, and a second room with no window that becomes a bit hot. The kitchen has no exhaust fan, which is not a problem if you eat mostly salads, but leads to some smoke and smell if you cook fish.

Positive: The apartment was overall ok in size but the bedroom was tight and not easy to move around in

Negative: The spiral staircase was not easy to navigate with luggage and as a senior citizen it was not very practical. The sensor activating light in the evening is in the wrong place. The light only comes on when you are 1/3 down the staircase. Not good from a health and safety point of view. The induction cooker was a nightmare to operate and the absence of instructions made it worse. Either there is something wrong with it or we were pressing the wrong buttons?

Summary: It could have been less stressful for the reasons mentioned.

Negative: Cleaning fee (150Euro) it is crazy The water taps were loose, especially in the kitchen. Parking lot missing (look at the airbnb, they declare it) The apartment door was not properly sealed. The balcony door let in all the noise from the street. There were no curtains, making it impossible to darken the room for sleeping. Coffee capsules were not replenished on the day of arrival, despite being declared as provided. They were brought only the next day before noon, forcing us to buy our own. A cramped entrance via a spiral staircase.

Summary: Not too bad, but you will miss your ideas
