Positive: The property was beautifully decorated and well equipped. It was cosy and comfortable. The balcony was fabulous for sitting out on the morning admiring the view and listening to bird song. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and it was great to have a dog basket provided. A private garden for the dog made it so much easier. It was easy to get to lots of beaches and places of interest.

Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Summary: Our stay was relaxing, comfortable and a great place to explore from with great beaches all around.

Positive: Badgers den was very quiet and peaceful. Lots of great walks in the area and the lodge was well equipped and clean. It had the best WiFi of any lodge we’ve stayed in so far which was a godsend as there is no phone signal in the valley. The beds were comfortable and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch. Lots of birds and wildlife in the area to see. There was also a welcome pack which included biscuits and scones, tea and coffee etc which came in very handy upon arrival. We loved our stay and would definitely return :)

Negative: We liked everything and have no complaints.

Positive: We had a lovely stay the den has all that you need, on a lovely setting and is very pleasant to just relax and unwind in after a busy day at the beach, out with the dogs or mooching about. We would definitely book again.

Negative: It is too harsh to say we didn’t like the driveway into the valley but would count the property out if we were looking for somewhere during the colder months. Unfortunately, the bath room fan is very loud but a necessity of course and the shower screen needs a new seal but just a minor point.

Summary: We had a great stay and would definitely book again to enjoy the secluded, cosy spot.

Positive: The property was spotless on arrival with some welcome gifts which made us feel even more welcome. The location to Bantham Beach and the surrounding areas is perfect (if you have a car). I really rate Badger's Den. We'll be back!
