Positive: Very pleasant stay. Very friendly family. I had booked a bed in the dormitory but on arrival it was full and the owner for the same price gave me a private room.Terrace with wonderful views of the mountains and rice fields where you can walk at sunset. Dinner very very plentiful and tasty. I recommend it

Positive: Really nice homestay. Very well organised and neat and tidy. My fan room was small but clean and comfortable . Shared bathroom. There are 4 clean bathrooms downstairs and a couple more upstairs. There always seemed to be someone cleaning or doing stuff which is a good sign of a well-run place. Nice common area where I had dinner along with 4 French guys on motos, a solo French traveller and a couple of Thai moto riders, plus some local friends of the owner. It was very friendly and social. There was a bit of happy water but nothing crazy, just a bit of fun and everyone went to bed pretty early. I'm a 70 year-old solo motorbike rider and I avoid the crazy backpacker places so this was perfect. Some fun and good times. The food was restaurant quality. As there were more than 12 of us the variety was excellent. Tofu in rich tomato sauce, green beans, another veg dish I forgot, roast duck, wild boar, stir-fry beef, pork belly in a green sauce(? but delicious) fruit. We had beers and then some happy water which was perfectly safe as the owner makes it himself on the premises (we had a little tour of his distillery room!). I might not return to the area but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Negative: Look, it's a basic homestay but better than the average with a good atmosphere. I stayed two nights and was happy.

Summary: Really nice homestay, very well organised and neat and tidy. Good food.

Negative: This is a place for large groups manly vietnamese. So,the evening are very loud since they do Kareoke and talk very loud. If you like a party 🥳 then this is the place for you.

Positive: The food was really great, also the owners are very lovely (despite the language barrier). Location is very close to the viewpoint and adjacent to rice paddies that invite for a nice walk

Negative: The beds are horrible. Don't really understand how anyone could give an exceptional rating for this. The mattresses in the private rooms are like made of concrete. The bathrooms look shabby, the private room is very simple and not very cosy. Overall this place lacks some love. It's still good value for the low price but just don't come expecting much. You get what you pay (although I've slept way more comfortable for the same money elsewhere in Vietnam)

Positive: It had the essentials: a bed to sleep on and three shared bathrooms. We chose to eat dinner in the town since it would be cheaper.

Negative: My husband would say the bed was hard, but it did offer a mosquito net.
