Positive: Location was unbelievable, view over the town of Buti was something we will never forget. Communication with owner and host was super easy via WhatsApp. Villa super clean and the grounds immaculate too. We have stayed in many villas but not one has had as many seating areas dotted around to enjoy. The views from the hot tub were incredible and the boys enjoyed the pool.

Negative: The access as mentioned by others is a challenge but gets easier with each trip up/down, just ensure you have a car with sufficient power - we hired a SUV and got a MG 1.5 but it struggled with 5 of us plus luggage. There are lots of wasps and mosquitoes too but that said neither of these things would put us off re-booking.

Positive: The garden, the myriad special nooks to relax in outside, the pool, the spa were stunning. The landscaping of this property made our stay magical.

Negative: Although we appreciated this recently built villa’s authentic old Tuscan decor we would have also loved a modern touch with stronger interior lighting.

Summary: We loved our stay here - it will be a treasured memory.
