Positive: The owners are very kind and helpful people. They made me feel like home and were always ready to help. I know they would never leave me in trouble — I felt safe and supported all the time. The room was super cozy and so beautiful, with nice details and Sicilian style. I loved it from the first moment. Also, the location is great — only 6–7 minutes walk to a very nice beach with clean water and soft sand. It was a very special experience, I felt real Sicily here. Thank you so much! I would love to come back again.

Positive: The b&b was in a great location, walking distance into town and to the beach, with a great view of the water & sunset from the balcony. The beach was quiet and the accommodation was cheap in comparison to nearby towns. The host picked us up from the train station and dropped us off again after our stay. He was very accommodating and helpful- he drove us around to show us the local town.

Positive: Kind, helpful, and proactive owner, Dominico, free secure parking onsite, Wi-Fi suitable for work video calls, daily cleaning, beautiful view from the balcony, comfy bed, fridge in my room as well as the shared kitchen, pet friendly. My little dog loved the enclosed back garden and the nearby beach. I recommend a visit to the Museo della Ceramica in Patti.

Negative: My room door didn’t lock from the outside. No hot water from the taps which made washing dishes difficult (the shower was perfectly hot, though). Could hear next door’s television late at night.

Summary: Eclectically furnished. Good price to quality ratio.

Positive: There was a problem initially that was not at all the host's fault. Sicily has been suffering under a drought and when we arrived there was no water at the site. Our host, however, did everything he could to make things better. He provided us with a room at a different site and moved us back to our original booking the next day when there was water. We had spent the entire day at Lipari and Vulcano and arrived back completely exhausted. To make things better for us, he ordered pizza for us, went and picked it up, and had it in our room before we had even completely unpacked. He was so warm and helpful and was completely fine with our little dog being with us. We had one of three rooms in the unit with a shared kitchen complete with laundry, and a garden. We shared a pleasant coffee with the other renters in the morning. The view from our balcony was spectacular both at night and during the day. The location is at the end of a country road so it is quiet with beautiful forests on the mountain behind. It was a great value for the low cost.

Negative: The kitchen could have been a little cleaner, however, like the water, this was not the fault of our host as we were sharing the kitchen space.

Summary: We would definitely go back.
