Positive: We booked last minute, and the hosts were delightful, responsive and so welcoming. Communication was warm and friendly. It felt very comfortable, even with it being a homestay vibe. They are such a lovely couple and they were really sweet. We enjoyed having conversation and talking about our different lives. It’s a shame our stay was short, we would have loved to have spent more time with the hosts. We stayed in the smaller room, which was suitable for one night stay. The bed was very comfortable and warm. Towels were provided and a clothing rail with hangars too. There are outdoor seating areas, options both with and without the hosts. The breakfast room had a kettle, mugs, coffee, water, bowls and cutlery. We had a wonderful breakfast made by the hosts in the morning. Theres a nearby shop if you need any bits. They have a wonderful dog!

Negative: The smaller room we stayed in didn’t have an external window to fresh outdoor air. However, it does mean we had a super night sleep as it basically became a blackout room.
