Summary: Was here for a 2-night stay for work. Free parking on drive of property, take care coming out, as restricted view of road. Greeted by Sigrid who was pleasant and provided good local information. Mini fridge and table on landing with snacks (need to pay for them). Also in fridge was fresh milk for tea and coffee in your room. My room was lovely with ensuite and seperate toilet (in room). Toilet was quite small (I am not small). Desk and chair to work at in room, as well as good TV. Internet was good also. The only thing I didn't like was that the pillows on the bed were not firm enough for me (personal preference). Lots of choice for breakfast (which was included in the price of my room) and the hot food was cooked to order.

Summary: A particularly nice welcome. A very well appointed en suite facility. A good sized and comfortable bed - very thoughtful and good quality ancillary furniture in the room. Very good breakfast. You can easily see why Rafters was awarded a 5 Star AA rating in 2023 - well done Sigrid!! Would make Rafters my first choice if I needed to stay in this area again. Peter May.

Summary: Wonderful place to stay! So welcoming and kind. Rooms are beautiful and so well stocked. Love having a cup of tea before bed. Breakfast was AMAZING

Summary: I booked this stay as a treat for my partner away from the kids. From start to finish everything was excellent cleanliness,breakfast and the place itself. I found the host Sigrid was very friendly and welcoming but not intrusive in any way. This is an excellent place nicely located also I would definitely stay again. 5**
