Positive: This inn is a jewel in the heart of Bruges. The 17th century building has been lovingly restored, including the amazing paintings in the sitting room. This is the second time we have stayed here, because the first time was too short. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, the bathrooms everything modern. Breakfast is hand prepared, fresh and locally sourced- absolutely delicious and more than we could eat. Due to travel snafu's, we arrived very late the day of our reservation. The host, Emmanuel, called me to ensure we were on our way, found us a restaurant still serving food at the late hour we arrived, and personally walked us to the place after we arrived so we wouldn't lose our way. He also gifted us with a box of local chocolates to take with us when we left. We are going to have to come back!
