Positive: Nice clean large room in a quiet area. Large bathroom with a good shower. The staff was very helpful and very cordial. The price was also good. Would definitely stay again.

Negative: The mattress is a little firm for me, but that is an individual preference.

Positive: Big. Easy and free parking. Huge libby with friendly staff. Big room with good facilities. Bar, restaurant and decent breakfast. Also cheap for what you get.

Negative: Not much not to like. It does what it says. Being picky, they are understaffed and the bar can be very slow. The restaurant has ideas of grandeur and although tasty can be expensive (and there is nowhere else to go) The air con is set to a default and can’t be altered in the room making it a bit too hot or too cold. The promised rooftop terrace is closed but to be honest, for an overnight, you won’t beat it!

Summary: Probably better than expected. A 4 star hotel in a 2 star location
