Positive: The property was the whole reason we chose this bnb for a stay. The surrounding landscape is breathtakingly beautiful and the farm itself was so impressive and well maintained. Seeing all the animals out and about especially in the morning is such a cool experience! The host, Stefan, is very attentive and welcoming and went above and beyond in every way: making sure I had plenty for breakfast as a vegetarian, helping us navigate the area, and even driving us to town on his way in which saved the day for us! Francisca next door also helped us a lot, was so kind, and a great host on the times Stefan is unavailable!

Negative: The only shortfall I can think of which is well advertised in the booking is that you do share a bathroom with the other guests so you just have to be more conscious of your time in the bathroom than you would if you had a private bathroom. But the washroom is extremely modern and we didn’t run into any issues in sharing.

Summary: A one of a kind stay with an incredible host!

Positive: The property was absolutely beautiful. Really wanted to be out in the country and relax. We were all so happy with the farm animals and watching/joining in the care for the cows!

Negative: We can’t say anything bad really, it was such a lovely experience

Positive: The real experience on a farm, with very helpful staffs and interactions with farm animals! We tried feeding the chicken and petting the piggies, and the whole breakfast is really from farm to table (sorry piggies). The location is close to nearest village, and also only short drive to nearby hiking routes. All the things are comfortable and new, good hot water, immaculate kitchen. You can really tell how ppl like it via the guestbook.

Positive: Stefan is amazing, just go there, he will bring you the breakfast while wearing a headset and always asks about how your day went. The Break fast was nothing I experienced before as a first timer im Europe, fresh products made by him, his neighbor or from the next village. Stefan will also tell you about the farm, bonus tip, ask him what his educational background is. Also try the restaurant right in front of the station in schupfheim, the lady is amazing.

Negative: Long steep walk to schupfheim, and irregular buses.
