Positive: So relaxing and peaceful. I’ve had the most relaxing and restful sleep of my entire trip here. The host is too kind and helpful. She dropped us to the station and also took us to the nearest hypermarket a few times. She also made us excellent tea every morning. Their dog Kaku is another sweet and gentle soul to spend time with. The village itself nice. Ask for the map and explore the nearby towns. Also Omachi and Hotaka are close by. Lots of apple orchards in the area.

Negative: It’s not their fault.. staying here without a car can be a bit uncomfortable. The station is 50 min from Matsumoto and the inn is another 45 min walk. The host was kind enough to pick us up. Recommend getting a car and enjoy this beautiful place. We will miss Kaku. :-(
