Summary: Our stay at Ayung Resort was one of the highlights of our Southeast Asia trip. We stayed at around seven different properties, and this was easily our favorite. The villa exceeded our expectations and looked exactly like the photos—no misleading editing like we experienced at some other places in Bali. The beautiful hand-carved wooden details throughout the room gave it an authentic Balinese feel while still feeling truly luxurious. The location was perfect. Instead of staying in the busy, crowded Ubud Palace area, we were surrounded by lush forest with the soothing sound of the Ayung River. Waking up to monkeys peacefully going about their morning in the trees was a memorable experience. The resort grounds are large, beautifully landscaped, and impeccably maintained. Housekeeping was outstanding—the room was spotless every day, and water, toiletries, towels, and everything else were replenished without us ever needing to ask. The buggy service was always quick, and every staff member we met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. We also had the seafood dinner one evening, and it was one of the best meals of our trip. Breakfast was good, although after several mornings the selection became a little repetitive. Overall, this is what true luxury feels like: beautiful surroundings, authentic Balinese craftsmanship, exceptional service, and attention to every detail. Summary: Blown away by it so next part isn't to negalate this. Main problem communication ,we didn't know afternoon tea is included so instead of getting to hotel spent it outside ( afternoon tea not great and no vegetarian options) . All the facilities not explained and due to jet lag /heavy wedding never got to grips with geography of hotel and got lost ...not enough signs to location of rooms especially. However after first day didn't bother walking ..just called buggy. Massage excellent. Breakfast for vegetarian cooked selection limited however still excellent. Staff ...amazing , treated like king.

Summary: Beautiful place and great service all around. It is not convenient to get around and some distance from town. But if you are looking for a calm place to rest and chill, this is excellent. We ordered grab food and the staff even helped to collect it and send it to our room.
