Positive: It is very unique and charming in design. The surroundings are beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially ordering us a taxi in the night when I fell ill with altitude sickness.

Negative: The main issue is the cost of a taxi from Chivay - 30-35 soles per ride. The evening meal is also 35 soles - soup, main (basic) and tea. It was also very cold in the accommodation- we had a small heater in the room and was fine once under the bed covers. They lit a fire for us next to the dining room in the evenings but was cold at breakfast time.

Summary: Unique stay, but isolated with the expensive taxi costs

Positive: That the design was nicely done.

Negative: The receptionist/cook didn’t make the welcome very comfortable. There was no option to have sth to eat there (which was very unpleasant given that it is a very remote place).

Summary: Wouldn’t go again. Overall it was ok.

Positive: It is like a hobbit village located in the inka area! The houses are lovely, clean, with comfortable beds and bathroom. The common space is impressive, full of artifacts, artesian art and comfy. It has a view on the valley, inka’s terraces and there is an archeological area nearby. A breakfast and a dinner (additional payment) were tasty. Totally recommend!

Positive: This was such a cool+fun place to stay. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The lodge is really cute with lots of interesting art and great views. We were able to do several hikes plus walk to hot springs from the lodge. Would definitely stay again!

Positive: Such a beautiful place surrounded by nature with very lovely people & a lot of details! The breakfast was nice, egg with bread & some fruits, they even made me some Porridge because I had stomach problems. The dinner was very yummy as well :)

Negative: I wish the fire would burn more often, so it would be more cosy and warm in the dining area and also better heater for the rooms - it was quite cold.
