Our lake house is on Glass Lake in Averill Park, NY. In case you want to venture off, it is close to Saratoga (perfect for race season!), the Berkshires MA, Albany NY, and Vermont. You’ll love our place because of its location right on Glass Lake. Incredibly private with spacious property. Our lake house is great for families with kids and couples, and handicap accessible. It is great for any season (leaves, skiing, fishing, swimming). Kayaks, canoe, row boat.....and the lake!!
Our house is fabulous. A great spot for a family vacation. Kids love it here. So much to do and explore. Our house was built in 1965 and was a bit ahead of its time in design. It is definitely a year round home. You can use it for a hub for leaf viewing in the fall, skiing in the winter and of course "laking" in the spring and summer. A little piece of paradise. The house is in great shape too! Enjoy the upstairs fireplace, but make sure that the chimney flue is OPEN.
Our house is 10 minutes from local cross country skiing, only 25 minutes from Jiminy Peak in MA and less than an hour from Bennington, VT. Great location for access to other points of interest.
You will have the whole house for your visit. We do grant our neighbors lake access as well, but you won't see them much. They might come down from their own houses to jump in their boats and head out on the lake.

Summary: Since this has been our fourth stay it’s hard to think of something we have not said already! We love this house and location. Every morning to wake up and have coffee and watch sun rise over the lake and watch the view change depending on weather is awesome. We are close to family in the area and the house is very comfortable with lots of amenities. Zach is an excellent host. He quickly responds and is always nice to communicate with. Also would like to say thanks to Julie too! We love our time on the lake and always look forward to our next visit!

Summary: This is our second family vacation at Zac's Lake House. This is such a wonderful family home on a beautiful and peaceful lake.The house is comfortable for a large group and is immaculately clean. Every amenity that you need is provided by the host from boats and life jackets, to board games and books. The kitchen modern and fully stocked with all types of cookware. There are beautiful views of the house from the house and deck. Zac is a great communicator and always quick to answer any questions. We highly recommend vacationing at this home and would love to return!

Summary: We stayed at this property to attend graduation. It was a 30 minute drive to campus. The location allowed us to have extended family and friends join us to celebrate after the ceremonies. The house is clean, comfortable, and spacious. The yard is large and beautiful. And the lake view is spectacular! The owners were easy to work with and extremely responsive.

Summary: The owner was quick to communicate and easy to work with. The house was quirky, but met our needs well. The kitchen was modern and well stocked. Only downside to the house was that the only bathroom on the main level is in the master, so if that person is sleeping, everyone has to use the downstairs bathroom. Obviously not something that can be fixed, but could be difficult for those with issues with stairs.
