Summary: This place is spectacular. Really hits you right when you walk in. Each bedroom has a bathroom & King Beds (1 room has a Queen). We hired Chef Willis which was a true game changer. So worth the money it was like having a restaurant in your home. Shopped, cooked and cleaned up. Simply priceless. The surf is very rough on this side but for the more athletic taking the stairs behind the house to the small private beach (during low tide) was really special. Highly recommend this place. Le Shack was a great restaurant for drinks and dinner. 5 minute walk away. We loved it so much we booked it again for next year same time The advantage of heading down to the equator in January is that it’s guaranteed warm. Mid 80’s and the pool and ocean are warm too. You can’t go wrong here. .

Summary: I have no word to describe how beautiful and perfect this place is! The view is simply out of this world and the house is amazing! We were 6 adults and 3 teenagers staying in the 5 bedrooms and it was perfect! We had such a great time just staring at the view and enjoying the bay. If you like waves, you will be well served!The property manager, Jackie, is simply amazing. She booked us a fishing trip, an amazing catamaran day and the nicest spot at ale Zen restaurant. She answered all of our request in a timely manner and always there to help if we needed to! Once again, thank you for this amazing time at Cragmere. Paradise on Earth

Summary: I stayed here for one week with friends and family to celebrate my birthday. The place and all it offers did not diaappoint. The breathtaking views are unmatched. Jackie the property manager was very welcomjng and responsive to our needs. I could not ask for a better host. All the bedrooms have their own bathrooms, an amazing feature that gives everyone their space. I loved the privacy that this place affords. I went for late night swims and took a nap on the day bed outdoors that overlooked those stunning views. One down side, the area is secluded so you'll need a taxi but Jackie will help with that. NO REGRETS! I feel such joy having stayed here on this mid- October trip. This was so special and I will be back! Shout out to Tameka the housekeeper! She is a gem. Book now! Life is too short and you deserve it.

Summary: I stayed here with my sister and cousin for a girl's trip and we had an amazing time. The pictures on the listing don't do the house justice. There was so much space both inside and outside to relax and enjoy. Jackie, the house manager, was absolutely incredible. I had a phone call with her before we arrived so she could provide recommendations and she also was able to book excursions and dinner reservations for us, making our trip stress free. She also saved the day when we were having difficulty finding a taxi so we could get to our dinner reservation in time. She was able to send a taxi our way and even set up a ride for us when we had a very early departure time for our flight home. We also chose to have a cook make us dinner the night we arrived so we could relax at the house and Hilda was amazing! The food was delicious and it was great to have a home cooked Bajan meal. I could go on and on about the stay. We would absolutely stay here again.

Summary: My husband wanted to spend his 50th birthday in Barbados, so I started researching houses 2 years prior. When I came across this house, I fell in love with it, so I immediately contacted the owner, and he graciously agreed to reserve the house for us. We anxiously awaited our vacation in Barbados, so when the house exceeded our expectations, we were exhilarated. The house is absolutely beautiful, and the location is perfect, especially if you're looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of the West Coast. I can't say enough good things about the caretaker, Carolyn, as she's truly FANTASTIC plus Hilda's cooking is fabulous!! We have rented many houses over the past 20 years, and this was the best one! I researched the island prior to our visit, so our days were filled with excursions, but we loved coming back to the quiet house so we could play cards or swim. Close places to eat. Cutter's has great food, especially breakfast. We ate dinner at Dis Ole House, and it was delicious. I want to thank Matt for sharing his beautiful home, thank Carolyn for being a spectacular caretaker and thank Hilda for cooking us 2 incredible dinners. Hope to see you again soon!! The Woodard's

Summary: Planned to be in Barbados with my oldest nephew and his family to be part of a documentary. Within 6 weeks my sister and brother in law both died as well as some family pets. A perfect locale to rejoice in the goodness of family love, share memories and bask in the love of the Barbadian culture. We made friends with several taxi drivers who took us to scheduled afternoon and evening events and then returned to our serene environment. Walking to the Crane resort was relaxing...watching some monkeys cross the road into the resort made my day as I love monkeys but was startled when the wet nose of one caught me from behind. At the last minute the kids could not make it but know how much fun this home would be for all ages....day and night. Thanking you Matt and Caroline for sharing this jewel.

Summary: We had a great time at Cragemere Villa! The property is maintained so well despite the challenges from the salt and sea air. Carolyn is very available and very helpful - we had her help us with groceries upon arrival and booking a chef (Hilda!) for the first night so we didn't need to think about dinner. Couple of pointers for future renters: 1. You can get down to a small beach just under the cliffs of the villa but there are about 50 steps that are not very stable at some points. When we were there, Barbados was suffering from a seaweed issue so we couldn't really spend time down there, but we did explore just once. It has gorgeous shallow caves, but note that it's probably not the safest for elderly or small kids. 2. The pool does not have a fence around it. Our little guy can swim and we were not worried about this, but if you come with little ones who cannot, you will need to be vigilant. 3. Rent a car so you can explore the rest of the island and easily drive to the Hilton Crane Resort. FYI - driving is British style so be prepared! 4. Book dinner reservations in advance - lovely spots at the Crane Resort which is just down the road! 5. Mosquitos are fierce at night, but the no-see-ums are worse. Recommend bug spray for sleeping at night (and keeping the doors in the bedrooms shut during the day) otherwise you'll be a bit of a buffet for the bugs in the evening. We all had bites! 6. Groceries are NY-level prices. Do yourself a favor though and buy fresh fish at Oisten's Fish Market 20 mins away - better selection than the grocery stores. Overall, beautiful property, great communication from the property manager, island is beautiful and easy to navigate!
