Positive: Great sized property. Bonus basement area to get laundry done and for kids to play some ping pong/darts. Nice balcony area to relax on after a day of hiking in Humboldt. Really good location for easy access in and out of the park for a couple of consecutive days. Good kitchen and bathroom facilities. Definitely good value.

Negative: There was scratching in the wall near the front door for a large part of the first night that kept us awake. Couldn't be sure what it was but it didn't happen the second night so hopefully only a temporary issue.

Summary: Spacious property with everything you need for a great couple of days in Humboldt Park

Positive: what a great cabin in the redwoods! clean, comfortable, quiet, relaxing, nice bedrooms, comfy beds, great kitchen area and living room, two decks for sitting and relaxing, great atmosphere and right on Avenue of the Giants! close to Miranda and access to 101. so nice to have laundry room! Love the no shoes policy!

Positive: It was a cute and well equipped cabin in the redwoods, it had all we needed at the moment we arrived since we were really in need of washing our clothes! Beds were very comfy, the coffee machine very handy and my kids loved the ping pong and the darts on the basement room, they also loved to run around the property. It was very well located to explore the Redwoods which are something definitely worth seeing once in life.

Negative: There was no dishwasher in our cabin and the eating table felt a bit small for a family of 4, but those are just minor points, though I need to note that there are not many dining options in the area so cooking is the most convenient.

Summary: Cute cottage in the Redwoods, worth visiting!

Positive: My son and I needed a last minute place to stay. We were traveling north on 101 from mavericks, just before christmas. We are so thankful that we found your cottage. More than comfortable. Everything was pristine clean. Very comfortable. My son and I had been traveling for a few days so I was able to do a load of laundry before we continued on the next day. The beds were comfortable. I was able to walk your property and found it very tranquil. It had rained so everything was glowing. It was a magical experience. And it was my 60th birthday on Christmas day. I took a walk down to the river. It was high and flowing hard. And it's such a small world, my son's come up here when the riverbed is empty and camp in that riverbed. We went to dinner at the cafe by the market and another small world, the housekeeper is a friend of the person I had met at the cafe. I actually was considering getting a womens get together and renting the property out for a long weekend this summer.
