Positive: The room was comfortable and very well kept, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location is great — only a 20-minute walk from the central part of Athy. The hospitality really stood out; the owner was super lovely, recommending great local places and making us feel very welcome. Would happily stay again.

Negative: There was a strange smell in the hall when we entered. Cobwebs on the Zelandor and in the bathroom. My son's sheets were stained with old blood. The toilet bowl was dirty. We had the bathroom door open and I was sitting on the bed, and you could see it. The coffee glasses were fine, but the bottom wasn't clean. A deep cleaning would be good.

Positive: The house was clean and tidy, and didn't feel cold at all. Teresa was kind and friendly. The breakfast was tasty. The room was spacious. The view from the dining room was lovely. It is situated in a quiet corner of Athy, making it the perfect place to take a rest. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay here.

Negative: There is nothing I didn't like, more like imperfections that heighten the place's charm. It is not easy to find the entrance to the site after dark, especially if you rely on GPS or Google Maps, as they show it from the main Road, whereas in reality, you can access it from the small lane on the side. There are no easily reachable sockets on the walls to plug your phone charger into (they are all behind the bed). An extension lead could solve this problem, allowing the bed lamps to remain plugged in.
