Positive: This was a gem and had all the luxuries needed. The staff was super attentive with pre and after service. Highly recommendable. The breakfast was somewhat different from the normal Peru breakfasts and that was welcome

Positive: The staff including the in-house dining room hosts were excellent. They were very helpful. The breakfast was great. There was a variety of hot and cold food available and plenty of tables. We could get whatever kinds of eggs or coffee we wanted. There was a lift. The deep bath was excellent. Be aware that the shower is inside this deep bath. Pillows were excellent memory foam or bamboo, and the staff provided a fourth pillow on request. We travel almost full time now and these pillows were possibly the best we have seen anywhere in the world. My wife and I have different tastes, but these worked for both of us. The room was very spacious and light-filled. The location was great; very close to the Plaza des Armas, the cathedral and a large church, and the massive market. The Plaza Real mall a bit further away could also be walked to. There were multiple types of cafes and restaurants close by, and there was a tiny bakery and corner shop within about 50 metres. It was a very short walk to the Cruz del Sur bus station when we left.

Negative: It’s an inner city location, so all the great things come at the cost of some noise. Street noise was often bad, but the worst noise was from car or shop alarms that were frequently going off, including late at night and in the morning. Clearly this happens all the time and nothing gets done about it. We usually kept windows closed, but it made little difference as they were not double glazed. Curtains were not block out curtains. There was only one bedside table and lamp. No drinking water was supplied. No kettle or small kitchen appliances of any sort.
