Positive: Simple guest house, clean and quiet, not far from the train station and the coast. Good to remain a night if you arrive late with the train and plan to go to Phong Nha the day after, reasonable price

Positive: The property owner was so friendly and was there to help you with anything you needed. I hired a motorbike from her directly at a good rate. Good location to venture out on a scooter to explore. National park only one hour on the scooter but a pleasant ride.

Positive: The host is the loveliest lady, she is so helpful and sweet. She does not speak English but her service and kindness do not require English words. She let us stay the full day waiting on our night bus and even let us take a shower after our tour. Loved it!

Negative: The hostel is not very social but that is ok if you are not looking for a chat!

Positive: Aumori was a very pleasant surprise. I hadn't realised I had booked a hostel rather than a hotel but it was the best mistake I'd made. The family were so welcoming and friendly and the room was basic but so comfortable. We had an overnight train later that day and they allowed us to shower and rest beforehand at no extra cost, which was above and beyond what we had paid for. Location is perfect and quiet. The family also recommended a great little local place to eat which is worth a visit. Highly recommend a stay here.

Negative: There really wasn't anything we could find fault with.
