Negative: privacy, while we were sitting in lounge lady walking past the window then cutting flower heads in garden .Felt this could have waited till we had gone .

Positive: Wie loved our stay at Augusta cottage. The house is spotless and very well kept. Actually it’s one of the nicest holiday rentals we had so far. It’s conveniently located in the Center of Burton-on-the-Water. You can walk everywhere in the village. The owner is so nice, he even helped us to defrost the car after a snowy night. We definitely recommend the cottage and would book it again.

Negative: Minor issue, the shower doesn’t really have any pressure.

Summary: Loved it and we would book it again.

Positive: It's a beautiful cottage. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds with lovely touches around the house. We had everything we needed here. There is a double and a single bed in each of the bedrooms, both of which have an ensuite. In addition, there is a third shower room down stairs. It's a stones throw from the centre of the village of Bourton on the water. There is a parking space in the grounds. A nice touch to find milk in the fridge and a box of shortbread to welcome us. It was a perfect weekend catching up with friends

The perfect place to base yourself to explore all the treasures of this amazing piece of English countryside. Lovely hosts and parking available on site so no need to worry about finding a park in this busy village. Would highly recommend for couples or family stays.
