Summary: Nice independent hotel in rural location. Staff super friendly, helpful and welcoming. Had noisy neighbours unfortunately, who chatted loudly until 2am!

Summary: I feel as though at one point this hotel would have been lovely. It’s just been left to deteriorate over time. Such a shame The guy at the front desk was ok but lacked any kind of service capability. 1 plug in the whole room that was on the opposite side of the bed so had to be bought a massive extension lead which wasn’t hugely practical. I was working from there for a few days and needed a plug for a phone, laptop and other things so this felt rather impracticable. Wouldn’t stay there again for the £111 a night a paid.

Summary: Check in and check out was functional but not friendly. Tired decor. A group of students were staying, and as I parent I understand kids will be kids, but I did have to call reception to request intervention, which did happen, but sadly, this didn't resolve the situation, with a group of boys just outside my room window, and in the room door corridor. As a lone female business traveller, this was intimidating and disruptive.

Summary: Parking was ok, i waited ages on arrival, over 10 mins, and i had to find a member of staff at the bar to help. literally no one was on reception at all. Once I checked in the toilet hadn't been cleaned properly. Not ideal. The rooms were small and functional. They were ok. I would say the hotel was on par with a premier in or holiday in style hotel. The breakfast in the morning was nice, again a total lack of staff. I just felt the staff throughout the stay were practically non existent. I spoke with other guests who were their whilst their children attended a camp and they were not offered any additional support. I think that is super poor. It is a shame as it has the potential to be a nice place. The tables outside were dirty and not just outdoor dust, they hadnt been cleared... it was just not a great impression...luckily i only stayed for 1 night!

Summary: The hotel is in a great location. A lot of the rooms need upgrading and there was no air conditioning which made it very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep overa very hot weekend. Also, the extractor fan in the bathroom was not working. The breakfast was basic but ok.

Summary: No fan in bathroom so lots of condensation after a hot shower. Bed very hard. We could not find aircon. Front car park full. Carpet old and old fashioned. Tired decor overall.

Summary: Comfortable bedding, spacious enough room. Bed was clean, although bathroom needed a little more attention. Lots of loose wall fixtures such as the curtain rail, shower rail and sink tap all holding on for dear life. Long walk from reception to room through a maze of corridors and steps. Lots of space for parking. Complimentary biscuits always sweeten the stay,

Summary: Staff were great. All really helpful and accommodating. Thanks for making my stay alright 👍 The hotel itself is very tired inside. Is due a refurb/maintenance. Gym is ok, but some one of the machines is broken, and it wasn’t very clean in there. In the room, I was using ahower in the evening, as barely any water comes out of the shower in the morning for some reason? Food in the brasserie was very nice. 👌
