Summary: Bruno and Marie were very kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the swimming pool almost every day. The house had plenty of space for our family of 4. Highly recommended for a relaxing vacation in the countryside.

Summary: We had a great holiday staying in Bruno and Marie's Holiday home. The house was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable and met all of our holiday needs. The highlight was the superb pool area and the friendly and helpful hosts and their sons Paul and Louis. We were made to feel extremely welcome by the owners, who were always available to assist or advise us with local places to eat at or visit. We were extremely sad when the holiday came to an end but look forward to visiting again in the future. Merci Beaucoup Bruno, Marie, Paul & Louis

Summary: We arrived early but Marie & Bruno we’re very accommodating & nothing was too much trouble. They gave us a huge welcome basket of fruit when we arrived. The gite & pool we’re just as the photos depicted. The gite had everything we needed for our stay & the pool & gardens were stunning! Although we were not within walking distance of amenities, there was a baguette machine a few steps from the property! Bruno spoke good English but Marie was not so fluent & so together with our limited french vocabulary, it was fun trying to converse with her, but we got by! We would definitely recommend this lovely gite, pool & hosts!

Summary: Marie and Bruno made us so welcome from the minute we arrived. Their house, the apartment , the pool and grounds are all beautiful. It was like visiting old friends but with our own accommodation. The kitchen had everything you could want - maybe an extra 2 tea cups for les anglais! - and the whole decor was just to our taste. Bruno recommended restaurants in Saintes, a town which is really worth exploring. The loveliest beach was La Grande Côte, park at the far end of Palais sur mer in the free car park. There is a restaurant overlooking the beach which had a good menu du jour with stunning views. Please note, the beds are 140cm, not queen size, just for information.
