Summary: The inn is perfectly located. Walkable to the byward market. The room was stunning The bed clean and comfy The bathroom was clean The bathroom had everything a traveller could need. There was tea, coffee and cookies available at all time Breakfast was above and beyond any hotel breakfast. The staff were warm, welcoming and efficient. This lovely,vert well kept inn will be our go to whenever we plan to be in Ottawa.

Summary: Everything about the McGee Inn was perfect. It is a beautiful house furnished in period style. The staff was very accommodating and they thought of everything. Our room had big windows and the temperature during some very cold days was very comfortable. Breakfast was divine and very soothing classical music was played while we ate. The Inn is close to the Rideau Canal and walking distance to everything else we wanted to see and do. We had a working FIREPLACE in our spacious bedroom and the staff furnished us with a duraflame log to burn each night. My husband and I had a fabulous stay and wished we could have stayed longer. I was amazed at the affordable price considering the level of comfort and service. We would love to visit again!

Summary: A gem of a place. Beautiful Victorian home decorated with exquisite taste. Mid December, it was decorated wonderfully for Christmas. Like a warm hug when you came through the door! Family run, everyone was welcoming & helpful. Breakfasts were truly excellent - try the banana & strawberry crepes made by Holly. Our room was spacious & we had a real fire, quite the treat. Tea & coffee available 24/7 in the lounge. We had a wonderful stay, hotel is very central for downtown - 15 minute walk along Rideau takes you to the NAC, Byward Market etc. A few minutes more to Parliament Hill. (We are in our 60s). Definitely a 5 star experience for us.
