Positive: The hotel is situated in a very beautiful picturesque place and surrounded by nature, the gardens are nicely treated, it is a very calm escape. The stuff is very friendly and helpful

Negative: The room was not comfortable to sleep in. The beds are very dated, the air conditioner didn’t cool the room properly and its motor sounds very loud.

Positive: A wonderful little hotel with marvellous staff, the food was exquisite, the apple tart stealing the show. One night, by ourselves in the hotel, the table was set up next to the chimney, scattered with rose petals for a truly unforgettable experience. Bearing in mind we're a gay couple, we were astounded. The hospitality was faultless! The room had amazing views down the valley.

Negative: The hot water was a bit erratic.

Positive: This hotel is a remnant from the better times, and it is still kept up in dignity, although I don't think they're having as many guests as before - we were the only guests besides one French family, which was really a sad thing to see. We practically had the whole hotel to ourselves. The staff - friendly, welcoming, polite and absolutely accommodating - couldn't have asked for more. The hotel has an amazing view from the balconies of the room and the breakfast/dinner terrace, overlooking the valley. The rooms are old, but well maintained, with large balconies. The dinner option is available on the premises of the hotel, and I recommend you get it - for a 3-course dinner, 13 euros is a steal. There are nice Moroccan wines available to complement your food. Breakfast was simple but good enough to set one up for a day. All in all, it's a good value stay, although you could feel some sadness looking at the former glories of this place...

Negative: Unfortunately, I've been bitten by the mosquitos/flies while asleep - this could've been avoided with the proper anti-mosquito equipment, but there was none available. Might have been bed bugs, unpleasant in any case. There's only soap in the bathroom, no shower gel/shampoo - please bring your own. WIFI only at reception and not really functioning in the rooms.
