Positive: Cambodia was a new experience for my wife and me, though I had been to the Far East before. We had a wonderful time. There were two keys to the success of our visit, an excellent Tour Guide and a wonderful place to stay. Full credit for the latter goes to Mrs. Sitoh Ho, who invested so much to build this wonderful B&B and the large and beautiful garden that surrounds it. Atoh's Maison offered us a spacious and comfortable room with nice decor and excellent amenities (a/c, hot water, good mattress, breakfast, etc.) Housekeeping was fine. A courteous and diligent tuk tuk driver provided both B&B security and transport locally (for a modest charge); he took us to an evening event, for example, then waited to bring us home. Our lovely hostess, Sitoh, spoke very good English, and was well connected in the community. So she was a great source of advice and insight; it seemed she was there and available about 25 hours a day. There is a good restaurant literally next door, and though we were always the only foreigners eating there, we never felt awkward. While Siem Reap is a large city, we found the streets to be relatively quiet and uncrowded. We also never experienced any concern about safety. It's a long way from home, but the idea of a return some day is certainly tempting.

Negative: Regrettably, Sitoh couldn't control the weather. Otherwise our stay was just about perfect.

Summary: It's hard to imagine a better place than this to spend six nights in Siem Reap

Positive: We slept in a beautiful, large house in the middle of a garden. A magical place with the kindest hostess who organized a trip to Angkor Wat for us and daily massages, where a driver would pick us up and take us for the massage. It's a pity we stayed there for such a short time.

Positive: We chose Atoh's Maison after reading all the positive reviews. We were not disappointed! Exceptional accommodation set in beautiful gardens. Tremendous hospitality from Sitoh and all her staff. Tasty breakfasts. Space to relax on your terrace, in the gardens, or at the pool. The location allowed for the opportunity to be closer to day to day living in Siem Reap but always the tuk tuk at hand (thanks Cheang) to take you wherever you wanted to be in town or out to temples and beyond. Local places to eat near the accommodation if required. We stayed five nights and as each day passed we liked being there even more and more. A real feeling of sadness leaving everyone at Aton's Maison. We would definitely recommend.....our favourite accommodation for some time.

Positive: Everything is so beautiful. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and will assist in any way they can with bookings, tuk tuks and taxis. The breakfast are delicious and they pack them when you hade an early morning tour.

Negative: The only draw back of this property is that it is far away from the centre. There are no amenities like 7/11 or chemists nearby so you need to get a tuk tuk. The bonus of this is it is quiet and you can walk to a restaurant or two.

Positive: Lovely little place with exceptional staff. We felt well cared for from start to finish. Staff were wonderful and attended to her every need. Room was large, clean and very comfortable. The pool was gorgeous as was the overall setting. It felt like a little oasis. Such a hidden gem. Great value for money. It was easy to book Tuktuks to get you to and from the city centre. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend
