Positive: The hotel is a few block walk to the SOU dormitories - on same side of Siskiyou Blvd. The room was clean. The Staff were helpful. Environment was quiet.

Negative: No food on site. The pool is in the middle of the parking lot.

Summary: I was in Ashland to help my kid move into the dorms at SOU. Ashland Motel was convenient & clean.

Positive: Very good location, close to downtown. Room was very clean and appeared recently remodeled inside. Good bathroom and shower. Room and property certainly met expectations.

Negative: Bed was lumpy. Check-in staff gave decent restaurant recommendation but incorrect highway directions.

Positive: The room was very clean and had been well cared for. I discovered the toilet seat was broken and reported it to the office; by the time we got back from dinner it was fixed. There was plenty of parking and the surroundings were clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. There is an onsite laundry for guests which we did not use.

Negative: The one thing lacking was "charm", which my wife mentioned several times in conversations with others. Other than that it was good.

Summary: Nice room in safe location and fairly priced.
