Positive: Beautiful setting, immersed in nature and bird song. Comfortable bed, clean property. Good location, off street parking.

Negative: If i had been staying on my own, i would not have been strong enough to turn the shower on. It was incredibly hot during our stay but the smell of drains, particularly on the lovely balcony was overpowering. We couldn't enjoy the impressive outside tub because of it. Our hosts were apologetic but rather limited in what they could do to improve matters. Pricey, and disappointingly spoilt by the bad smell which by the last day of our stay also pervaded the bathroom.

Positive: Great quiet position, with parking and a lovely view. Local bus stops, pub, quaint friendly shops and walks. Short walk to old fishing village with more shops and pubs for food and drink and sea air. Friendly owners on hand if need anything. Would stay again definitely.

Negative: Honestly nothing, maybe and as with older properties the steps may be a little demanding for people with mobility issues. But this cannot be helped and was mentioned beforehand. The proprietors was on hand to help with luggage should you need it. Loved it all really.

Summary: Everything we needed, nice views with parking, short walk to everything and clean.

Positive: Location is excellent for Robin Hoods Bay , Whitby and Scarborough. Outdoor bath was a real treat. Very quiet and private. Keys Located in door on arrival . No drama. Clean tidy and cosy appartment.

Negative: Jacuzzi Bath in main bathroom plug not functioning. Some nasty drains smells which we would've sorted with bleach if we had had some under the sink. Step off kitchen would not suit older visitors. Also a high step in and out of Outdoor needs a step . Maybe a couple of extra utensils in the kitchen.
