Negative: The building that our room was in was very musty & needs refreshing. Our room also felt the same. We had a massive bed, the pillows were awful!

Positive: The food was delicious and in good proportion. The grounds were lovely to walk around with a mixture of woodland and fields our dog loved it too. The nod to A AbMilne's Winnie the Pooh trail was great and would be fun for children. The staff were very accommodating as we had our dog with us.

Negative: We were only there for one night but couldn't fault anything during our stay.

Summary: Wish we could've stayed longer, next time...

Positive: Stunning property in beautiful area close to lots of lovely walks in the Ashdown Forest. The room was large and very comfortable, though we did find it very hot. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice.

Negative: We were disappointed that the swimming pool had children’s swimming times both on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning- the times we had been hoping to use the pool. We stayed on site a little later though so we could enjoy the facilities after check out.

Summary: A beautiful stay in the countryside and excellent service from all the staff working there.

Positive: Amazing experience. The facilities are incredible, it was like staying in a castle. Decoration matches perfectly everywhere. For those who say that it is "outdated" clearly don't know the definition of that word. It is perfectly ambiented, decorated and furnished as in the 50s ish, but with brand new equipment. Breakfast was superb and the staff were super courteous and kind. The green area around the hotel invites you to get out for a long walk.
