Positive: The property is beautiful and nestled in the hillside with a stream flowing past. All of the beautiful onsen baths are wonderful and the food was also excellent. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable public spaces to relax.

Negative: Nothing. It is a bit hard to get to without a car but very doable and worth it!

Summary: So beautiful and relaxing.

Positive: Beautiful room with view to mountains, lovely onsen

Negative: The shuttle bus to Kotohira only leaves once a day - making an early departure difficult for foreign travellers without a car. This was not clear in the facility information about free shuttle service. We would have appreciated information in English about walks and things to do etc in local area.
